Earth Leakage Detector (ELD) is an indigenous state-of-the-art signaling and safety equipment developed by Anu Vidyut. First variant of ELD was developed by the Company in 1977 as a preventive maintenance tool to identity and monitor earth leakage in Railway signaling circuits (with floated supply) in ONLINE condition.
ELD (Sensitive) continuously monitors the condition of the cable and an alarm is actuated along with a visual indication when the leakage value drops below the pre-set value. This value can be set between 50 K to 1M Ohms. Relay contacts are available for connecting to a data logger for automatic recording of the faults occurred.
