Microcontroller based Earth Resistance Sensing Unit
Earth Resistance Sensing Unit TYPE 908 is a microcontroller-based instrument which scans Leakage Resistance with respect to Earth in up to 12/24 cores of the Quad Cable used for Digital Axle Counter, Signal or Telecom purpose This equipment scans each channel for 10 secs in Auto mode otherwise in Manual Mode it continuously monitors the selected channel.
A Reference for Alarm can be set through a switch selected from 10kΩ to 60MΩ in 6 steps. Accordingly, whenever the Leakage Resistance drops below the set reference an Audio and Visual alarm is enabled. The result is visible on the digital display as the value of IR. The Alarm output maybe conveniently extended to Data logger through Potential Free Contacts. The Equipment is available in 19-inch Rack Mountable arrangement.
